Looking to hit the windy city for your Bachelorette weekend? Not only is this city lively and spunky and fun, but it is the perfect getaway for you and your girls! We have compiled a list of a few of our favourite things to do in Chicago.
See the Sights
Whether you make your way down to the Navy Pier to check out some great restaurants, take some photos and see the sights or take the infamous photo in front of the "Bean," formally known as Cloud Gate, there is certainly something for everyone! We love the idea of boarding Big Bus Chicago to explore all of the great landmarks and attractions, with fourteen convenient stops to choose from (plus free Wi-Fi on board ladies)! If you are looking for something entirely unique, we highly recommend seeing the city from the water with WaterRiders, as you paddle your kayak through the city, uncovering the rich architecture and history.
Have Some Good Eats!
Chicago may be known for its deep-dish pizza and street hot dogs, but there is so much more to it than that! Being such an ethnically diverse city, it allows everyone to be satisfied in terms of cuisine! For a fun tavern feel, we recommend The Publican, known for it's oysters, pork and beer!If you are a meat-lover, than making a stop for dinner at GT Prime is a must! Their dishes are sourced from local farms and are absolutely delicious! Brunch in Chicago is also something fun for you all to do together, and Cherry Circle Room is just the place to do it! While you are waiting to order your meal, be sure to start with the CCR Milk Punch - coffee topped with bourbon, rum and milk - the perfect start to a busy day in the city!
Enjoy the Night Life
Howl at the Moon is definitely a fun spot to start your evening - and be sure to catch the Dueling Pianos if you can, while sipping a bucket drink! We love ESTATE Ultra Bar & Yacht Club for its "Stardeck," which is the largest open-air rooftop patio in the city. The bar is always stocked with an extensive craft beer selection along with speciality "Skinny" drinks. Perhaps you and the girls prefer something a little different for the evening, and we totally understand! Be sure sure to check out the Auditorium Theatre to see one of the outstanding performances ever-present here.
Enjoy the Moment
Chicago is such a lively city - so many things to see and do, at all hours of the day! We love the energy, the feel, and the electricity that runs through us every time we visit! Be sure to take lots of photos (we love the idea of having Flytographer come to take photos of you and your girls) and enjoy the moment!
