Late Night Snack Bar

We have all been there - end of a long night of drinking and dancing, and all you really want is a late-night treat.  A wedding is no exception, and a Late Night Snack Bar is a brilliant idea! We can assure you that after providing this late night treat for your guests, they will be over the moon, and so grateful!

Here is a list of the Top 10 late-night snack bar ideas:

  1. Poutine - What could possibly say you are Canadian more than a poutine bar at the end of the night? Fries, gravy, and cheese - how could anyone resist? If you want to add a little something extra, potentially look into adding pulled pork, bacon, or something a little more unique, like the Vegetable Chili with Sweet Potato Fries that Smashed Apple Gourmet Catering offers.

  2. Tacos - This one allows you to get extra creative in the toppings, and it is guaranteed to be a hit! From chicken, to beef, to vegetarian options, this is surely a crowd pleaser. You could even get extra creative by throwing in a seafood option.

  3. Pizza - This is a tried and true option, but there are ways of making it unique. Perhaps a Nutella pizza for all those with a sweet tooth in the crowd. Buffalo Chicken or Bruschetta options are unique and sure to be a hit. Adding dipping sauces like creamy garlic or hot sauce also allow guests to customize.

  4. Hot Dogs - Upscale “Street Meat” at it’s finest. Offering the standard ketchup and mustard is always an easy go-to, but if you want to be extra creative, you could try something like a Peach Salsa Dog - peaches, cilantro, and chopped serrano peppers for a summer wedding. Another unique twist is the Reuben Dog - sauerkraut, swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing. Mmm!

  5. Cereal - A childhood classic. Why not reminisce of mornings sitting watching your favourite cartoons, eating the best and sweetest cereals around. Fruit Loops, Lucky Charms, Trix, and Cocoa Puffs, just to name a few. Plus, these can be set up in glass containers for guests to choose from, which creates a photo-op of its own.

  6. Seven Layer Dip - Served in a little cup with some chips for dipping, this will certainly be turning heads and filling all of your guest’s stomachs with deliciousness

  7. Smore's - Be it a DIY, or a creation brought in from a caterer, this classic never disappoints. Graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows cooked to perfection is the perfect send-off for the evening.

  8. Grilled Cheese - Whether you prefer the classic Mozzarella or Cheddar on thick Texas-toast, or you like to add in some extra ingredients, this is sure to make guests feel right at home. Try adding in tomato, a spicy sauce, or fancy cheeses. Make sure you have pickles on standby for this one!

  9. Popcorn - This is an easy way to please your guests. Provide them with both sweet and savory options to adorn their popcorn. Cute little bags allow guests to carry them along for the ride home.

  10. Chinese Takeout - Tiny Chinese takeout boxes can offer guests a variety of options. From spring rolls, to fried rice, or Pad Thai, these carry-out options are the perfect way to send your guests off completely satisfied.

We are huge foodies here at Little Bird Wedding & Event Co. and love the idea of ending the night with a unique and delicious treat. One last reminder of your awesome party!
